Apex were chosen to design and manufacture cylinders for the world’s largest pipelay vessel.
Pieter Schelte is a 382 m long, 117 m wide dynamically positioned platform installation, decommissioning and pipelay vessel.

2 off – 160 bore X 110 rod X 800 stroke. Trunnion mount cylinder
4 off – 220 bore X 200 rod X 1500 stroke. Displacement cylinder
480 bar test pressure
All material from a Lloyds Register Certified West-European mill applicable to the material range and plate thickness.
EN ISO 10204- 3.2 material certification.
All material, designs, welding procedures according to Allseas special requirements.
